With this particular tour we’ll see lots of places related to the Medici family and we will end our visit in their last home in Florence: Palazzo Pitti. Here we will enter the Galleria Palatina and we’ll see wonderful works of art by Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio and many Italian and foreign artists.
We’ll see Palazzo Medici Riccardi.
We’ll walk by San Lorenzo Church and the Medici chapel.
We’ll walk by the religious center.
We’ll stop and see from the outside the Baptistry, the Duomo and Giotto’s Bell-tower.
We’ll reach Piazza della Signoria, an open air museum. Here we’ll be stopping by the copy of Michelangelo’s David.
We’ll walk by Palazzo Vecchio, the second Medici’s home
We’ll be walking towards Pontevecchio, the oldest bridge of Florence.
We’ll see the private corridor of the Medici
We’ll end the tour visiting the Galleria Palatina in Palazzo Pitti
